Expression is moving what is inside, to the outside.
You don’t need an audience to express, that’s communication.
If someone else appreciates what you’ve expressed, all the better.
But it’s been moved from inside to outside without anyone else seeing it.
Start with planting the tree, then worry about pruning it once it’s grown.
Express yourself.
However that takes shape is up to you, no one else.
