Authorial Intent Doesn't Matter

daily_082; being home

I spent the last week housesitting.

I was never home. It never feels like home in someone else’s house, no matter how much “nicer” it is.

I also spent the last year in Nashville. That became home for a while.

I saw Pike’s Peak for the first time in six months about three weeks ago.

It feels good to be home.
